Clover A1c

  • State-of-the-art analyzer
  • Unique data accuracy
  • High speed of research
  • The possibility of analysis in both capillary and venous blood
  • The ability to determine the level of glycated hemoglobin A1c and glucose directly during the patient's admission / examination

For the purpose of early detection and improved control of the effectiveness of diabetes mellitus therapy, Infopia has developed the CLOVER A1c analyzer, which allows you to determine the level of glycated hemoglobin A1c and glucose in whole blood. This device is offered for professional use in laboratories of medical institutions.

Difficulties in the diagnosis and quality control of diabetes mellitus treatment required the development of new indicators and laboratory methods. This indicator was the level of glycated hemoglobin or HbA1c . Glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) is a form of hemoglobin that is formed when it interacts with glucose in the blood. The amount of HbA1c directly depends on the glucose level, and during the lifetime of the erythrocyte, that is, you can find out the average level of glycemia about 90-120 days, respectively, before this study. The rate of formation of glycated hemoglobin depends on the severity of glycemia, and its decrease and/ or normalization occur within 4-6 weeks after reaching normal blood glucose values. These properties have allowed the World Health Organization since 2002 to recommend the determination of the amount of glycated hemoglobin to all people with diabetes mellitus every 3 months. It should be especially noted that the level of HbA1c does not depend on the time of day, nor on food intake, nor on the level of physical activity, nor on the emotional state of the subject.

According to the results of ten-year studies conducted by DCCT (Diabetes control and complications trial), the fact of the relationship between the level of glycated hemoglobin and the risk of developing late complications of diabetes mellitus has been proven. A decrease in glycated hemoglobin by only 1% leads to a decrease in the development of all complications of diabetes by an average of 24%. In addition, this analysis is simply indispensable for monitoring the effectiveness of therapy with hypoglycemic drugs, for monitoring the state of blood glucose levels in pregnant women, as well as for diagnosing latent forms of diabetes mellitus.

The CLOVER A1c analyzer allows you to determine the level of glycated hemoglobin in both whole capillary and venous blood using any anticoagulant. To conduct the study, you will need only 4 microl. of blood. A reliably accurate result will be obtained in 5 minutes!

The level of HbA1c (glycated hemoglobin) is determined in the CLOVER A1c analyzer by the boronate affinity method, which has received well-deserved recognition among specialists in this field. According to the requirements of World standards, the CLOVER A1c analyzer is standardized and undergoes annual certification in IFCC (International Federation of Clinical Chemistry) and NGSP (national Glycated Hemoglobin Standardization Program, USA), which is an indicator of high quality and accuracy of the results obtained, and also allows its use in clinical practice.

With its help, it is possible to reliably and accurately determine the level of glycated hemoglobin in the range from 4% to 14%, which fully satisfies the needs of clinicians for the detection of diabetes mellitus and control of its treatment.

In the CLOVER A1c analyzer, it is possible to study the glucose level in whole capillary blood. The defined range is from 0.6 to 33.3 mmol /l, the blood volume for the study is 0.3 µl., the study time is 3 seconds.

The CLOVER A1c glycated hemoglobin and glucose analyzer allows you to diagnose and monitor the effectiveness of diabetes mellitus therapy at the highest level. The purchase of this device for professional laboratories of medical institutions is an opportunity to quickly obtain reliable results, and also makes this high–quality modern research method available to every person.

The low cost of the analyzer and its compact size allow it to be used even in small laboratories, including for the development of paid medical services in your institution.
